Overview:

The subsection ‘Immunomodulation’ brings together graduate students who study the response of the human immune system to internal and external stimuli. Different areas of research and training include the reaction of the human host to pathogen infection, the involvement of the immune system in tumor disease as well as in inflammatory disease.
