Research Training
Scientific Training at the GSLS
The Graduate School of Life Sciences encompasses an enormous range of research areas with a multitude of established methods being applied every day. So if you require a specialized method outside of the expertise of your research group, there is a good chance that within the GSLS there is someone who can give you training or at least some helpful tips.
The scientific coordinator of the GSLS - Juliane Fiebig - will do her best to find a group within the graduate school which can train you in the technique you need. So if you require help to find the right training, don't hesitate to approach her.
Unfortunately, the applied methods of our researchers are too heterogeneous to offer a regular curriculum of method workshops. Therefore, the GSLS currently only offers statistical analysis as a regular course twice a year. Please see our transferable skills course timetable for the next available course.
